Use
In this IMG activity, you transfer the shipped process instruction characteristics and process message characteristics from the SAP reference client to the current client. You require these characteristics for the message categories that SAP has predefined and to define your own process message categories and process instruction categories.
The keys of the shipped characteristics start with SAP_RMS_TPI_ and SAP_RMS_TPP_. You cannot change these characteristics in the current client.
Caution:
You must also carry out this IMG activity if you use the SAP component Production Planning for Process Industries without Trial Management.
Activities
Carry out this IMG activity. The system then transports the shipped characteristics from the SAP reference client (000) to the current client.
Notes:
The system creates characteristics at client level. After you have carried out this IMG activity, the default characteristics are all available in the current client. You cannot, however, transport characteristics as you transport entries in Customizing tables. That means you must also carry out this IMG activity in your productive system before you transport the remaining settings for process coordination from your Customizing system to the productive system.
