Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Labeling (PLM-RM-LBL) component.
You use this BAdI to specify how the draft for the diet label list is generated. The BAdI is called when you choose Generate Draft on the Diet Label List tab page.
Requirements
You have defined text modules and assigned them to exception values in Customizing for Recipe Management under Production Planning for Process Industries -> Master Data -> Recipe Management -> Labeling -> Specify Text Modules for Diet Label Draft.
Standard settings
In the standard system, the BAdI implementation CL_RMSL_DI_DIET_DRAFT is activated. The default code is executed automatically.
With this BAdI implementation, the system takes the following points into account when generating the draft:
- When you choose Generate Draft, the system displays a dialog box from which you can choose the language in which you want to generate the draft.
- All diet substances for which the Display Item checkbox is selected, are taken into account when the system generates the draft.
- The system uses the text from the Description column as the name of the diet substance. If no description exists for a diet substance in the language in which the draft is to be generated, the system uses the key of the diet substance and writes a message to the application log.
- The diet substances are organized according to the settings you made in Specify Text Modules for Diet Label Draft:
The system creates groups of diet substances that have the same text module assigned to their diet values.
The diet substances are separated by commas, and the conjunction specified by the text module, for example, 'and', is inserted before the last diet substance.
Note
The scheme used to separate the individual parts of the list is not language-dependent. This BAdI implementation takes the German writing convention into account. If the language you are working in requires a different form of separation, you have to edit the draft again afterwards.
- If a footnote exists for a diet substance, the consecutive number of the footnote is inserted in square brackets after the diet substance.
All footnotes are listed at the end of the draft.
If the footnote text does not exist in the language in which the draft is being generated, the system uses the phrase key of the footnote and writes a message to the application log.
The BAdI is not designed for multiple use and only the active implementation is called and executed.
The BAdI is not filter-dependent.
Activities
For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.
Example
A draft could look like the following:
May contain traces of peanuts[1] and soybeans[1].
Contains lactose.
