Use
In this IMG activity, you define function modules that you want to use to assign names to the change states of your recipes according to your own criteria. You then assign the function modules to the recipe types for which you want to use them. The function modules are called when a new change state is created for a recipe of the recipe type.
Standard settings
In the standard system, the system uses the function module RCP_ECN_COUNTER to assign sequence numbers to the change states of a recipe. This function module is called in the following cases:
If you have not assigned your own function module to the recipe type in Customizing
If you have assigned a function module to the recipe type in Customizing, but it does not return a name
Activities
Check according to which criteria you want the system to determine the names for your change states.
If required, define your own function modules for assigning these names as follows:
Copy the standard function module RCP_ECN_COUNTER to your namespace.
Tailor the copied function module according to your requirements. You must not change the function module interface.
Activate the function module.
In the IMG activity Recipe Settings, assign your function modules to the recipe types.
