Use

In this IMG activity, you make all the settings that affect equipment requirements.

Requirements

  • Make sure that the following equipment requirement types supplied with the system exist in Customizing for the Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) component in the IMG activity Specify Specification Types:
    • S_EQR_BB Equipment requirement (building block)
    • S_EQR_DO Equipment requirement (dependent object)

      You must not change these equipment requirement types and you must not create any new ones.

  • In Customizing for Recipe Management in the IMG activity Define Number Ranges, you have specified the number ranges for equipment requirements.

Activities

  1. Define the views for equipment requirements. For more information, see Define Views.
  2. Define the language-specific descriptions for the views. For more information, see Specify Language-Specific View Names.
  3. Specify properties for the equipment requirement types supplied with the system.

    The iPPE nodes for equipment requirements are:

    • S_EQR_BB Equipment requirement building blocks
    • S_EQR_DO Dependent equipment requirement

      Do not change these nodes and do not create any new nodes.

      In the properties of the equipment requirement types, you specify the following:

    • The number range for internal number assignment (not relevant for dependent objects)
    • The number range for external number assignment (not relevant for dependent objects)
    • Whether you archive your messages, and for how long
    • Which process parameter profile is to be used as a basis (standard: DEFAULT)
  4. Assign the views to the equipment requirement types. For more information, see Assign Types to Views. Also note that the BASIC, IDENT, and CLASS views cannot be used with equipment requirement type S_EQR_DO (dependent equipment requirement).
