Before you perform the necessary activities for transforming general recipes to master recipes, you have to make the following settings:
RFC destination
You have specified the RFC destination of the general recipe: (Define Target Systems for RFC Calls)
Master data
Make sure that all the master data is available in the target system in which you want to create the master recipe:
- Material master
- Classes
- Properties
- Resources
- Classification of resources
- Master inspection characteristics
- Inspection methods
Authorizations
The system checks the following authorization objects for the recipe transformation functions. Assign the authorization profiles to the appropriate users:
C_ROUT Authorizations for routings
C_STUE_BER Authorizations for Bills of Material
C_FVER_WRK PP-PI: Production version - plant
Customizing for PP-PI
You have performed all the Customizing activities relevant to PP-PI (in particular, the IMG activities for the BOM in Customizing for Production, as well as the IMG activities for the resource or for the master recipe in Customizing for Production Planning for Process Industries).
Settings for the rating in the target system
You have specified the rating according to which the general recipe data may be transferred to a master recipe. You make this setting in the central system for general recipes in Customizing for Recipe Management (Recipe Settings -> Define General Recipe - Master Recipe Transfer).
