Use

The following Recipe Management objects are specifications:

  • Recipes
  • Formulas
  • Substances
  • Packagings
  • Process elements
  • Equipment requirements

Recipe Management uses the appropriate functions from the SAP Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) component to find specifications, for where-used lists, and to output recipe, formula, and substance data in the information systems. This IMG activity describes the settings you have to make in Customizing for EH&S for the Recipe Management information systems.

Standard settings

Default settings are supplied with the system.

Activities

Check the default settings in Customizing for EH&S and change them or add to them if necessary. Note the following:

  • You specify the following in the Manage User Exits IMG activity:
    • In the user exits of category SUB_QUERY, define extended search functions for finding specifications of the different specification categories.
    • Example:
For formulas, the extended search function Formula with Change State... (function module FRML701_FRML_FIND_BY_AENR) is supplied with the standard system. If you want to set up an analogous search function for substances and packagings, you must set up the entries with the function module RMSA951_SPEC_FIND_BY_AENR.
    • You use the user exits of category SPE_HITLIST to tailor the format of the hit list (column positions and content) to your requirements.
    • In the user exits of category SUB_USAGE, define where-used lists for specifications of the different specification categories.
    • Example:
For substances, the where-used lists Recipes of the Substances... (function module RCP733_SUB_USAGE_VIA_RCP) and Formulas of the Substances... (function module RCP736_SUB_USAGE_VIA_FRM) are supplied with the standard system. With these you can determine recipes or independent formulas that contain one or more of the substances you specify.
    • In the user exits of category SUB_ISOUT, define output variants for the output of specification data. Recipe Management uses the output variants assigned to the specification categories RECIPE, FORMULA, and SUBSTANCE.
  • In the IMG activities Specify Groups and Specify Group Trees and Assign Groups, define groups and group trees for queries, sets of hits, and output variants.
  • You make the settings for the output of specification data in the Specification Information System IMG section.

For more information about specification searches, where-used lists, and output of specification data, see SAP Library for the components Recipe Management and EH&S.
