Use
In the Costs formula view, the system determines the costs for the primary output. To do this, it uses the material price that you specify in the material master for the materials involved. In this IMG activity, you specify the following:
- You specify which of the material prices that you can theoretically enter in the material master are available for selection in the input help in the Costs view.
- You specify which of the material prices the system is to use as the default price in costing, that is, which material price the system uses when you call the Costs view.
Note
The system uses the relevant exchange rate with the exchange rate type Standard translation at average rate (M) to translate currency amounts. You cannot use a different exchange rate type in Recipe Management.
You define exchange rates in Customizing under SAP NetWeaver -> General Settings -> Currencies -> Enter Exchange Rates.
