Use

In this IMG activity, you set up checks that the system runs when you change the status of a specification in the recipe workbench. With these checks you can, for example, ensure that all substances of a recipe must be released before you can release the recipe.

Requirements

You have activated the Business Add-In (BAdI) Allows Validity Change in Subsequent Status IN PROCESS and not changed the supplied method CHECK_STATUS_CHANGE in this BAdI.

Activities

  1. For each specification category for which you want to run checks when changing the status, develop a class that implements the interface IF_RMSA_STATUS and contains the check methods that you need for the status checks.
  2. In this IMG activity, enter the class and the corresponding specification category under ABAP Class for Specification Category.
  3. Under Relationship Between Specification Types and Check, enter the required data. For more information, see the field help for the fields Spec. Type, Spec. Type Dep. Spec, and Method.
  4. The method CHECK_RCP_AT_RELEASE is supplied with the standard system. It checks whether a specification whose status is to be changed contains specifications for which the following applies:
    • The specifications belong to the specification type specified under Spec. Type Dep. Spec.
    • The specifications have a status that is defined under Status of Dependent Specifications.

      If you use this method or a similar method of your own, enter the required data under Status of Dependent Specifications.
