Use
In this Customizing activity, you map incoming post item attributes for e-mails to e-mail attributes for a selected document type.
The system defines attributes for incoming post items according to the RMS ID and element type ID that has been entered for the selected document type in the Customizing activity Define Basic Settings for Incoming Post Items.
You can use the following sources for e-mail attributes:
- Business Workplace attributes
These attributes contain values provided by SAP that cannot be changed
- MIME header attributes
These attributes are used only for external mails. You need to make the relevant settings in the Customizing activityDefine E-Mail MIME Header Attributes.
Requirements
You have defined the document type and set the incoming item type to E-Mail in the Customizing activity Define Basic Settings for Incoming Post Items.
Standard settings
Activities
Select the document type in the dialog structure under Inbound Document Type.
Specify the following:
- Incoming Post Item Attributes
- Source of E-Mail Attributes
- E-Mail Attributes
Note: If you select MIME header value as the source, the system uses the values you have specified in the Customizing activity Define E-Mail Header Attributes.
