Use
In this IMG activity, you can define the activities and activity functions of the process route for incoming post items.
Activity: The person who creates a process route has to assign each process route item to an activity. You determine which activities can be selected in this IMG activity.
Activity function: The person who executes a process route item using the pushbutton activity can select an activity function for the activity to be executed. Example: The functions Create and Assign Record and Assign Record are available for the activity Record Assignment. In this IMG activity, you define which activity functions are available to a user when carrying out an activity.

There are activities and activity functions defined in the standard system which you can change and enhance.

The columns have the following meanings:
- Activity:
Unique name for the activity
- Activity:
Text for the activity
- Task:
You can enter the workflow tasks delivered in the standard system - TS78800013 Display Incoming Post Item
- TS78800015 Process Incoming Post Item
- TS78800017 Preview
Only the attributes of the incoming post item are displayed in the preview in order to improve performance. However, you can go directly to the incoming post item from the preview. - Class:
The activities delivered are processed in the class CL_RMPS_ACTIVITY. If you want to process your own activities, you have to copy the class CL_RMPS_ACTIVITY and enhance the coding. Each class that is defined must implement the interface IF_RMPS_POST_ACTIVITY.
Maintaining Activity Functions
Select a line with the activity for which you want to create activity functions and choose Maintenance of Activity Functions. The columns have the following meanings:
- Activity:
Technical name of the activity for which you want to enter activity functions
- Activity function:
Unique name for the activity function
- Function:
Text for the activity function. This text appears in the context menu of the pushbutton activity.
- Outcome:
Text for the outcome of the activity function. This text appears after the activity has been executed in the process route display, it documents the execution of the process route item.
- Icon:
This function is not supported for the process route of incoming post items
