Use

In this IMG activity, you can define one or a number of case types (see PSRM Terminology) for each document type.

This has the advantage that only the case types relevant for a document type are available to the user for assigning incoming post items to cases.

Requirements

You have to create the document types you want to define first.

  • You create document types for scanned documents as archive link document types.
    You can find more information on this in Customizing of SAP Archive Link under "Edit Document Types".
  • You define document types for e-mail using the Business Add In Assign Defaults for Attributes and Document Types with method Setting of E-Mail Incoming Item Type (SET_MAIL_DOCTYPE).

The case types you want to define must be created in the IMG activity "Define Case Types".
