Use
In this IMG activity, you define how the disposal cutoff date is set for the system in relation to the monthly disposal period defined in the disposal schedule.
Note:
Note: The settings made here are intended for the DoD (US Department of Defense) standard in Records and Case Management. The settings are only relevant for disposal schedules with the disposal instruction type 'Time'.
When a document is saved, the relevant cutoff date is set in accordance with the monthly disposal period and the cutoff period defined here. If the disposal period is 12 months or longer, the cutoff date is set automatically as the year's end (calendar year or fiscal year).
Example
The monthly disposal period 2 is configured in a disposal schedule. In this IMG activity, you have assigned the cutoff period Quarterly for the monthly disposal period 2.
A document created on 02.15.2007 is given a disposal cutoff date of 03.31.2007 when it is saved.
