Use

In this IMG activity, individual functions can be hidden in some menus of the electronic desk.

You create a menu profile for this and then assign the profile to a a desk.

Requirements

The desk must be created in the IMG activity Define Structure of Worklist.

Standard settings

SAP delivers a menu profile, however, it does not contain any entries.

Activities

  1. Select Electronic Desk for Customizing.
    You are taken to the electronic desk that you selected for working with Records and Case Management in your user settings under Goto -> Settings.
    On the electronic desk for Customizing, you can display the description of the functions and the technical keys for some toolbars and menus.

    Note that you can only display the menus for some folders if the folder contains elements. For toolbars, you can display the description and the technical key of functions using quick info.
    Also note that sub-menus for this display can be removed in context menus.

    Note the name of the menu and the technical key of the functions you want to hide.
  2. Select Menu Customizing and define for which menus specific functions should be hidden in the menu profile.
  3. Select Assign Profile to Desk and assign the menu profile to a desk.

Note

You can call this IMG activity several times. This allows you to display the electronic desk in "Customizing Mode" and make entries in menu profile at the same time. This means that it is not necessary to note the entries separately. Note, however that the settings for the desks are only activated when the transaction is started for the first time.
