Use
The Business Add-In (BAdI) RCP_COPY_MODIFY is used in the Recipe Management (PLM-RM) component. You use this BAdI to change data when you copy recipes, independent stages, or processes.
- You can change the following data when you copy recipes:
- Output substance
- Output material
- Short text and long text
- Creation reason
- Recipe header data
- You can change the following data when you copy an independent stage or a process:
- Short text and long text
- Header data
Requirements
Standard settings
The BAdI is not active in the standard system. It is not intended for multiple use and is not dependent on a filter.

Example
You want to change the output substance when copying a recipe. The recipe contains a substance-material combination, therefore, the substance and material both have to be changed.
Use the method adjust_copied_recipe with the parameters x_sub_out (output substance) and x_mat_out (output material) to do this. During implementation make sure that you assign the substance and material correctly. If you do not do this, the system issues an error message after calling the method and cancels the copying process.
