Use
In this IMG activity, you specify the system parameters that you require for displaying user interfaces using Web Dynpro ABAP.
- RECFA WEBUI
Specifies what technology is to be used for the user interfaces for the external candidate and the internal candidate.
The following switch settings are possible:
- RECFA WEBUI = ' '
- Use of BSP (Business Server Pages) for the user interfaces of candidate scenarios (default setting)
- RECFA WEBUI = X
- Use of Web Dynpro ABAP for the user interfaces of the candidate scenarios
- RECFA BL2UI
Contains the name of the RFC destination for the receiving front-end system. If you use Web Dynpro ABAP for the user interfaces (switch RECFA WEBUI = X), you must enter the name of the RFC destination that corresponds to the front-end system.
Note
You must maintain the RECFA UI2BL parameter for the reverse direction (front-end system -> backend system). See IMG activity Enter RFC Destination of Receiving Backend System.
This parameter is relevant only if you run the front-end and the backend on separate systems.
- RECFA SYEMP
Specifies the system on which the internal candidate scenarios run.
The internal candidate scenarios can run together with the external candidate scenarios on the front-end system or separate from the external candidate scenarios on the backend system.
The following switch settings are possible:
- RECFA SYEMP = ' '
- The scenarios for the internal candidate run on the front-end system.
- RECFA SYEMP = X (default setting)
- The scenarios for the internal candidate run on the backend system. If you select this setting, note that you must also perform the front-end settings for the candidate on the backend system.
- RECFA LOCFI
Specifies what content is provided to candidates when they are entering their desired work location.
Note
- These settings are relevant only for user interfaces with Web Dynpro ABAP. You cannot restrict the selection for user interfaces that use the BSP technology.
The following switch settings are possible:
- RECFA LOCFI = ' ' (default setting)
- The candidate can select via dropdown list boxes all stored countries and regions assigned to the countries that are stored in the country settings for SAP NetWeaver. The city can be entered using a free text field.
- RECFA LOCFI = X
- The candidate can select via dropdown list boxes only the countries, regions, and cities that were stored in SAP E-Recruiting for the branches. In this way, candidates can select only values for which there are actually branches.
- Note
- You must store the branches in the backend system.
