Use

In this IMG activity, you assign the reference users the roles that are required when using Web Dynpro ABAP in a separated system (front-end and backend on different systems).

Note

  • You perform this IMG activity in the front-end system.
  • Note that you must also assign roles to the reference users in your backend system using the comparable IMG activity.

Requirements

You created a service user and reference users for internal and external candidates in the front-end system (IMG activity Create Special Users for Front-End System (Web Dynpro ABAP)).

Standard settings

Activities

  • Assign the service user the SAP_RCF_UNREG_CANDIDATE_CLIENT role or one of the user roles you copied.
  • Assign the reference user for external candidates the SAP_RCF_EXT_CANDIDATE_CLIENT role or one of the user roles you copied.
  • Assign the reference user for internal candidates the SAP_RCF_INT_CANDIDATE_CLIENT role or one of the user roles you copied.
