Use

In this IMG activity, you assign the service user and the reference users the roles that are required when using Web Dynpro ABAP in a separated system (front-end and backend on different systems).

Note

  • You perform this IMG activity in the backend system.
  • Note that you must also assign roles to the reference users in your front-end system using the comparable IMG activity.

Requirements

You created a service user and reference users for internal and external candidates in the backend system (IMG activity Create Special Users for Backend System (Web Dynpro ABAP)).

Standard settings

Activities

  • Assign the service user the SAP_RCF_UNREG_CANDIDATE_SERVER role or one of the user roles you copied.
  • Assign the reference user for external candidates the SAP_RCF_EXT_CANDIDATE_SERVER role or one of the user roles you copied.
  • Assign the reference user for internal candidates the SAP_RCF_INT_CANDIDATE_SERVER role or one of the user roles you copied.
