Use
In this IMG activity, you activate the virus scan profile /PAOC_RCF_BL/HTTP_UPLOAD that you use in SAP E-Recruiting to perform a virus check when uploading attachments. In this way, you can include external virus scanners to increase the security of your system.
You use the virus scan via the virus scan profile /PAOC_RCF_BL/HTTP_UPLOAD as an alternative to the virus scan that you can enter using the implementation of the BAdI HRRCF00_DOC_UPLOAD (BADI for Document Upload). See the IMG activity BAdI: Upload Documents.
Activating the virus scan profile does not have any affect on the implementation of the BAdI. In other words, if you have previously used a BAdI implementation for the virus scan, it runs independently of this virus scan profile.
Note
You use the BAdI implementation to enter - in addition to the virus scan - other checks of the uploaded documents, such as the document size or the file format.
Requirements
Before you activate the virus scan profile, you must set up the associated Virus Scan Interface. It is not sufficient to activate the virus scan profile only.

Standard settings
By default, the virus scan profile /PAOC_RCF_BL/HTTP_UPLOAD is not activated.
Activities
Set up the Virus Scan Interface.
Activate the virus scan profile /PAOC_RCF_BL/HTTP_UPLOAD.
