Use

In this IMG activity, you can customize the start pages delivered in the standard system to suit your own requirements. You also have the option of defining different variants for the same start page, taking the Web Dynpro configuration into account.

Storing a start page

  1. Choose Start Page in the dialog structure.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Select the start page delivered by SAP that you want to customize. Use the value help for this.
  4. Enter the Web Dynpro configuration identifier (component configuration ID of the start page component) that defines the start page variant.
  5. Enter a text of your own choosing as a description of the customized start page. This text is not displayed on the user interface.
  6. Save your entries.

Storing structuring elements of the first level for the start page

  1. Choose Assignment of First Level in the dialog structure.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Enter the relative position of the structuring element on the user interface.
  4. Enter the identifier of a structuring element. Use the value help for this. The value help displays the structuring elements of the first level that were delivered by SAP and those that were defined by the user.
  5. Assign other structuring elements to the first level if required. To do so, choose Next Entry.
  6. Save your entries.

Storing structuring elements of the second level for the start page

  1. Choose Assignment of Second Level in the dialog structure.
  2. Specify the relative position of the structuring element within the structuring element of the first level.
  3. Enter the identifier of a structuring element. Use the value help for this. The value help displays the structuring elements of the second level that were delivered by SAP and those that were defined by the user.
  4. Assign other structuring elements to the second level if required. To do so, choose Next Entry.
  5. Save your entries.
