Use

In this Customizing activity, you can redefine roadmap patterns delivered in the standard system to suit your own requirements. To do so, you create a variant of the pattern and then assign the relevant roadmap steps to it in the desired order. You can use Web Dynpro configuration IDs to define different variants of the same roadmap pattern.

Activities

  1. In the dialog structure of the Customizing activity, select the Roadmap Pattern entry.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Specify the roadmap ID that you want to adjust. Use the value help for this. This displays all roadmap patterns that are provided in the standard system for SAP E-Recruiting.
  4. Enter a Web Dynpro configuration ID (component configuration ID of the roadmap component). This identifies the variant of the changed standard roadmap pattern.
  5. Enter a text of your own choosing for the description of the variant. This text is not displayed on the user interface.
  6. Save your entries.
  7. In the dialog structure of the Customizing activity, select the Assignment of Roadmap Steps entry.
  8. Enter the relative position of the roadmap step within the roadmap pattern.
  9. Enter the identifier of the roadmap step. Use the value help for this. The value help displays all of the steps delivered in the standard system for SAP E-Recruiting as well as the user-defined steps.
  10. Assign other roadmap steps to the roadmap pattern. To do so, choose Next Entry.
  11. Save your entries.
  12. Create an application configuration for the application whose roadmap you want to change (for example, HRRCF_A_REG_APPLWIZARD_EXT for the application wizard, and hrrcf_a_startpage_ext_cand for the profile maintenance).
  13. In the application configuration, assign to the component of the roadmap the component configuration for the corresponding scenario.

Note

If you want to change the roadmap of an application wizard scenario, you must first perform the Customizing activity BAdI: Specify Application Configuration for Application Wizard and implement the BAdI HRRCF00_DETERMINE_APPL_CONFIG. This is necessary to ensure that the system uses the correct application configuration when calling the application wizard. In your implementation, return the corresponding name of the application configuration (RV_CONFIG_ID) depending on the transferred Web Dynpro application (IV_WD_APPLICATION).
