Use
In this IMG activity, you can modify the assignments of the comparison (match) fields stored in the standard system to enable requisition criteria or succession plan criteria to be compared automatically with those of the candidate profile for searches and automatic rankings in the context of a requisition, application group, or succession plan.
SAP delivers a table with default settings for this Customizing table. These entries are overridden by entries that are stored using this IMG activity.
Caution:
Perform this IMG activity in the production system as well.
Requirements
You have performed the following IMG activities:
- Define Search Templates
- Define Search Template Elements
- Define Information Categories
- Assign Fields from Information Categories to a Search Profile Type
Activities
Redefine the fields that are to be included for the candidate search or for the ranking of candidates in the context of a requisition, application group, or a succession plan. Proceed as follows:
- Select the component ID of the calling search application controller.
- Select a search template of the search application. Use the value help for this.
- Select a search template element.
- Select the information category relevant for the comparison field.
- Select the relevant comparison (match) field. This step is not necessary if the previously selected information category contains qualifications.
