Use

In this IMG activity, you specify the selection profiles that you want to use to extract the data for the worklists of the application areas. In addition, you specify for each selection profile whether the data is to be extracted from application tables or an index table.

Activities

  1. Specify an application area.
  2. Assign an identifier for the selection profile. You can use any character string of up to six characters in length.
  3. Assign the source of the data that is to be selected to the selection profile. Specify also whether the data originates from database tables or an index table.

    Note

    If you create the selection profile for the application area 04 (Publications), you cannot specify index tables as the data origin.

  4. In the case of an index table, specify an index group.
  5. Save your entries.

Create the other selection profiles that you want to use in the same way.
