Use

Start pages give users access to the functions and data they require for their various roles. Start pages contain links to the functions and display pages. The links are grouped into coherent groupings. They appear in frames, with explanatory texts and graphics.

Requirements

Standard settings

SAP delivers the following start pages in the standard system:

  • Employee
  • External Candidate
  • Recruiter
  • Administrator
  • Requester
  • Succession Planner

For more information about the start pages in the standard system, see the IMG under Determine E-Recruiting Services.

Activities

You can create and adjust the start pages you require in your company using the Customizing activities listed below.

Note

You must assign users who use user-defined start pages the authorization for these start pages.

Authorization is controlled using the authorization profile that is assigned to each user. The authorization to call the start page is stored in the Applications in E-Recruiting authorization object (P_RCF_APPL) (see IMG activity Create User Profiles).
