Use

In this IMG activity, you define the start pages you want to use in E-Recruiting. You can define new start pages or change existing ones.

Start pages give users access to the functions in E-Recruiting that they need in the context of their various roles.

Requirements

If you want to use your own start page groups, you should already have created the start page groups in the IMG activity Define Start Page Groups.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Enter an ID for a new start page or select an existing start page.
  2. Enter a name for the start page. This name is not displayed on the user interface. It is used to create value help for Customizing.
  3. Use the application class to specify whether the start page is for internal or external use. This information is required by the URL Generator to determine whether the user must log on with a user name (internal) or with an alias (external).
  4. Enter the subarea of E-Recruiting where you want to use the start page.
  5. Assign the start page an OTR alias, which contains the title of the start page. Select an existing OTR alias or create a new one. This alias is displayed on the user interface as the title of the start page.
  6. Assign the start page an OTR alias, which contains a descriptive text for the start page. Select an existing OTR alias or create a new one. This text, which is usually an introductory text, is displayed in the upper part of the start page.
  7. Assign the groups you want displayed on the user interface to the start page. Specify the display sequence of the groups on the start page.
