Use

In this IMG activity, you create the forms that are used to create letters for correspondence in SAP E-Recruiting. In doing so, you can customize the look and the content of your correspondence using the forms.

Requirements

You have set the system parameter RECFA INDCO to specify that users can use the letter sections to customize letters in correspondence activities. For more information, see the documentation for the IMG activity Set System Parameter in the section for the relevant system parameter.

Standard settings

The table of forms and text modules is a system table with specific namespaces for customer entries.

Customer namespaces: forms and text modules Y* and Z*

SAP delivers sample forms and sample texts for the sample forms with changeable letter sections.

The sample forms have the prefix HRRCF_CS_IT_*.

The sample text modules have the prefix HRRCF_CS_MT_*.

Activities

Create forms

Create your own forms by using the standard forms as templates that you can copy and modify. Note that there are two different ways a user can customize letters that are based on the forms.

Use the following templates if you want to create forms for letters:

• HRRCF_CS_IT_APPLICANT for normal letters
• HRRCF_CS_IT_APPL_INVITATION for invitations

The copy templates for normal letters and invitations differ only in the data interface.

Note

Do not change the data interface as it is then not possible to assign forms to activity types without errors occurring (IMG activity Assign Forms to Activity Types).

Create changeable letter sections

Create texts that users can change if they want to customize letters in correspondence activities. Create text modules with the relevant texts.

Use the IMG activity Assign Changeable Letter Sections to Forms to assign the text modules to your forms.

Example

You want to create a letter for an acceptance:

• Copy the HRRCF_CS_IT_APPLICANT form to a form Z_LETTER_ACCEPTED.

  You can now include your own text, company logo, and other information in this form.

• Create a text module that contains the changeable letter section and assign it to the form.
