Use

In this IMG activity, you assign query user groups to roles. Users assigned a given role can then run the queries of that user group.

Note that you can assign a maximum of one user group to a role.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  • Select the role to which you want to assign the query user group.
  • Switch to the title element Personalization and there choose the personalization object Assignment of a User Group to SAP Query.
  • Assign a user group to the personalization object.

Note:

You can only ever assign one query user group to a role. To assign several query user groups to a user, we recommend you to create a role for each query user group. These roles must not have any other specifications; they are for the purposes of the assignment only. The roles can then be linked to the user either directly or using a reference user.
