Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Quality Planning component. With this BAdI, you can transfer data from any data source to an inspection plan.

The following steps are executed:

• The system searches for or creates an inspection plan that fulfills the conditions of the source object.
• The system searches for the corresponding master inspection characteristics for the data source that were not yet assigned.
• The data for the plan characteristic is supplemented not only with the data from the master inspection characteristic but also with the data from the source.
• A consistency check is run before saving.

Requirements

Master inspection characteristics exist that create a connection to the data source.
