Use

With this Business Add-In (BAdI), you can make adjustments to meet your own requirements for processing text variables in the long texts of Budget memos.

The BAdI is used in components Revenues Increasing the Budget (PSM-FM-BU-RB) and Unilateral and Reciprocal Cover Eligibility (PSM-FM-BU-CE).

If the BAdI is implemented, you can:

  • define your own text variables or exclude the Text variables predefined by SAP from processing. When creating text variables in the long texts of the budget memos in IMG activity Create Budget Memos, these text variables are then checked.
  • Process the text variables predefined by SAP or adjust your own text variables to suit your requirements

The BAdI is called for the following events:

  • When creating long texts for budget memos
  • When creating the budget plan

  6. Enter your implementation code between the method <Interface Name>~<Name of Method>. and endmethod. statements.
  7. Save and activate your code. Navigate back to the Change Implementation screen.
Note: You can also create an implementation for an Add-In and not activate it until later. If you want to do this, do not perform the following step:
