In this IMG activity, you define background jobs for batch record processing. You can use this option for the following:
- To process a large number of batch records in the background all at one time
- To perform specific processing steps for available batch records automatically at certain predefined time intervals
You can execute the following programs or processing steps in the background:

PPPI_MCHP_CREATE Generate batch records
PPPI_EBR_ARCHIVE Archive batch records
PPPI_MCHP_DELETE Delete batch records
Example
Requirements
The user who defines the background jobs must have the authorization for transaction COEBR, authorization object M_MATE_CHP (Batch Record).
