Use
In this Customizing activity, you assign a logical system ID to the master registry.
The process registry provides information about realized process chains and federated processes within and across systems. A process registry exists as a component in every system, but in the case of Process Observer, one is selected as a master registry for all systems.
Note
There can only be one master registry in the system landscape.
Requirements
You have defined the logical systems for federation.
See the Customizing activity, Define Logical Systems for Federation.
Note
We recommend that you do not change this setting once it has been made as it will lead to inconsistencies.
If this entry is modified then manual interfernce is required to clean up the old registry system and to update the new registry system with the realized process chains and federated processes.

The above example suggests that the logical system ABCCLNT001 that is defined in database table T000 is the master registry.
In addition, if no value is maintained for the parameter, the current system is a master registry and all participating systems should have the value as mentioned in the example above.
