Use
In this Customizing activity, you define parameters to make sure that no log data is lost during extraction even if a (normally unwanted) delay in logging occurs (for example, scheduled Business Object Repository event processing for Process Observer is not running).
You should set the parameter to half the value of the upper or lower limit of the DataSource safety interval that has been defined for delta extraction of Process Observer DataSources.
If the default value for the safety interval for delta extraction for process orchestration datasources is not changed, the default value for "Maximum allowed time delay" does not have to be changed.
Requirements
Standard settings
If you do not define a time delay, the default setting is a delay of 15 minutes (900 seconds).
Activities
In the Parameter Value field, enter the time delay you require.
Example
You require a time delay of 20 minutes (1200 seconds).
You enter 1200 in the Parameter Value field.
