Use

In this Customizing activity, you can display the table access for standard data and define the table access for customer-specific data.

Display Table Access for Standard Data

You can display the alias for database tables and the alias for all assigned key fields included in standard delivery. This metadata of sales documents is relevant for pricing.

Define Table Access for Customer-Specific Data

You can define table aliases for customer-defined Z tables in which customer-specific pricing-relevant data are stored (for example, if you want to pass a campaign ID to pricing).

Before the database selection for pricing takes place, the global data, header data, and item data is prefilled. These prefilled structures are generally used as data sources.

Define Table Access for Customer-Specific Data

Create new entry to define the table alias for the Z table and maintain key fields:

  1. Enter the Table Alias name using the name of the Z table, for example, and assign the custom Z table.
  2. Choose the newly created table alias and double-click DB Alias Keys.
    • Create new entry for each key field using input help.
    • Choose the Source Type using the input help and fields documentation.
      This rule must be defined so that the fields can be filled at runtime with data selected from custom Z table, Item Prefilled for example.
    • Enter the pricing-relevant Source Field and specify the Direct Value using the input help.
