Use

In this IMG activity, you define the takeover profile. The takeover profile determines the background activities that the system carries out during takeover and is used in the Web Dynpro transaction PHIN_TO_CREATE.

Requirements

Standard settings

You must make the following settings:

  • A data source:
    • Load XML File Without Functional Location
      • You load an XML file that is stored locally and the functional locations are filtered out and not displayed in the technical object hierarchy. The Functional Location Structure tab page does not appear in the takeover application.
    • Load XML file with Functional Location
      • You load an XML file that is stored locally and the functional locations are displayed in the technical object hierarchy.
    • Load Template
      • You load an existing technical object as template.
    • Load Existing Object
      • You load an existing object for further processing.
  • If you want to use Maintenance Program Definition (MPD) functions to create the maintenance plans . Note, that this is only available in the DIMP system and MPD must be switched on.
  • Measuring point category
  • The name of person who took the measurement reading
  • Indicator to set the usage of functional locations
  • Indicator to set the usage of A&D measurement counters
