Use
In this IMG activity, you assign a check class and a container class to a decoupled infotype. Without this entry, the infotype cannot be executed in the decoupled infotype framework. If you developed the decoupled infotype in the Create Infotype IMG activity, this entry is automatically generated. For more information, see the SAP Library and choose HR Tools -> Developing an Infotype in Personnel Administration -> Developing an Infotype -> Create Infotype.
Standard settings
All infotypes provided by SAP are correctly configured. As a customer, you may not change these entries.
The number of customer infotypes start with the number 9 (9nnn).
Activities
If you did not use the Create Infotype IMG activity to develop the decoupled infotype, you must manually create this entry. Proceed as follows:
- Enter the infotype that you want to configure.
- If necessary, enter the subtype of the infotype that you want to configure. This is only necessary if you want to store an individual check class for a certain subtype. If you do not enter a subtype here, then the entry is applied to all subtypes of the infotype. You therefore generally do not need to enter anything into the subtype field.
- Enter the check class in which you have stored the infotype-specific processing logic (business logic). The system supports two different types of check classes:
- Check class
- We recommend using this technology and entering the created check class here.
- Check class (integrated into framework)
- Any check classes you enter here are based on obsolete technology. You should no longer use this technology.
- Enter CL_HRBAS_INFTY_CONTAINER as the container class. This class implements a standard behavior for retaining data and is usually sufficient. For cases not involving an infotype that processes a table section in addition to the infotype data record (known as table infotypes), enter the CL_HRBAS_TINFTY_CONTAINER container class instead.
Example
Infotype: 9001
Check Class: ZCL_HRBAS_INFTY_9001
Container Class CL_HRBAS_INFTY_CONTAINER
Check Class (integrated)
