Use

In this IMG activity, you determine which links appear on the confirmation page of a self-service application. The confirmation page is the last page displayed when editing an application.

You can display several types of links:

  • Standard links connect back to the ESS homepage or the page for the area, or they can restart the service.
  • Examples of other links include a direct launch of another self-service application from the confirmation page. In this case, after the user has finished one self-service application, he or she can jump directly to the next self-service application without having to call up the ESS homepage or area page. This is especially useful when two applications either have related content or when your users frequently perform two applications consecutively.
    • Example:

From the confirmation page of the Delete Expense Report application, you can link to the My Trips and Expenses application.

You can define up to five links for one application.

Requirements

Standard settings

You can either change the items delivered in the standard system or create new items for an application.

Activities

Browse to the required application and choose Details.

In the group box Confirmation Screen Links, you can choose which of the available standard links appear on the application's confirmation page. You can create the text for the selected links in the text field.

In the group box Service Links, you can select which other applications you want the confirmation page to be linked to. You can create the text for the selected application links in the text field.
