Use

If you use Time Evaluation, you can use the following functions for the automatic accrual of absence quotas:

  • You can display accrual entitlements, that is, entitlements from the automatic accrual of absence quotas that have not yet been transferred to the Absence Quotas infotype (2006).
  • You can display entitlements that the employee is likely to accrue in the future. This function is possible only if time evaluation can be run for future periods for the employee. It is only available for the stand-alone Web application Time Accounts.

You can display time types from the B2 cluster. To be able to do so, you also have to adjust the Determine Time Types as Time Accounts method of the PT_ABS_REQ Business Add-In.

Requirements

  • You use time evaluation.
  • Employees have a Time Management status other than 0.
  • If you want to simulate future results:
    • You use the QUOTA function to accrue your employees absence entitlements.
    • You have configured a time evaluation schema to be used to simulate the evaluation of future times.
      To simulate times for future periods, you can also use a simplified schema where only the quota entitlements are calculated for the future. For a model schema, see the TQTA schema (Generate Absence Quotas). If, however, you want to display a time account such as time off from overtime, you have to use a production schema.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. If you want your employees to be able to simulate future times, complete the following steps:
    1. Choose the Define Variant for Time Evaluation activity.
    2. Create a variant that your employees can use to run time evaluation.
    3. Enter the schema to be used to run time evaluation.
    4. Choose the Maintain LLREP Feature activity.
    5. Enter the time evaluation variant at the SIMF parameter in the LLREP feature.
  2. Check whether your employees have the required authorizations. They require:
    • Authorization to execute the RPTIME00 (Time Evaluation) and SAPDBPNP (Logical Database PNP: Database program) reports to run time evaluation.
    • Authorization to read the cluster tables B1, B2, PC, PS, and TX to run time evaluation and to read time types.
