Use
In this activity, you specify whether in calculating the remaining entitlement you want the system to take account of leave requests that have not yet been posted to the Absences infotype (2001) on the database.
Note that the view that you process in this activity is also used in Customizing for the Leave Request Web application. If you do not use the Leave Request application, you should not change the remaining standard settings.

If you only want to use data from the Absences infotype (2001) to calculate the remaining entitlement, select the Remaining Leave Without Unposted Requests field.
