Use
This Business Add-In enables you to estimate the actual contributions for savings plans, miscellanesous plans, and stock purchase plans. These plans are composed of contributions that are dependent on the employee's current salary (example: pre-tax contribution 5% of salary). SAP estimates the actual contributions provided that the function for estimating contributions has been set up in Customizing for Benefits. If this estimation is not accurate enough or if you use a different salary calculation base, this Business Add-In allows you to recalculate the estimated values and overwrite the old values.
Three category-specific methods are available. Within these methods, you can decide for each benefit plan whether you want to estimate the actual contributions yourself or whether you want to use the values estimated by SAP.
Requirements
This Business Add-In is only used within the ESS People-Centric UI.
Standard settings
This BAdI is not implemented in the SAP standard delivery. If you do not create an implementation, the system runs through the standard code.
If you set parameter PROCESS_STANDARD_CODING to true ('X'), you can access the standard code for specific benefit plans or other conditions after you have implemented the BAdI.
