Use
In this IMG activity, you assign the variants (that you defined in the previous IMG activities for the individual modules) to a run variant. This run variant controls the run for budget creation.
Requirements
There are entries in the IMG activities for the module-specific variants:
- Object collector: Link Variant to Filter Value
- Data Collector: Assign Detail Variant to a Variant of the Data Collector
- Document creation: Link Variant to Filter Value
- Error Handling: Link Variant to Filter Value
- Output: Link Variant to Filter Value
Standard settings
SAP delivers the run variant ORIGINAL which is interpreted by the program Budget Creation - Free Selection in Position Budgeting and Control. This run variant is always interpreted if budget is created for a person or position. For example, this is possible in the component Organizational Management using the function Change Organization and Staff Assignment or using personnel master data maintenance.
The variant ORIGINAL is flagged as standard in the standard system.
Activities
If you want to use your own run variant, you have to copy the report RHRFPM_ENGINE_TEMPLATE and enter your run variant in the coding of this report.
