If you generate a commitment run, the program saves this run under a unique number. In this IMG activity, you define the number range interval 01 for it. The definition comprises the number interval from which the system selects the number and the type of number assignment. Only the internal number assignment is permitted for commitment runs.

Activities

  1. Define the commitment run numbers you want for the number range interval 01. The program does not use numbers from other number range intervals.
  2. Select the internal number assignment.
  3. Save your entries.

Further notes

You transport number range objects as follows:

Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.

All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.

Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
