Use
In this IMG activity, you create a detail variant and assign a filter value for the data collector and one for the determination of requirements. The detail variant contains settings for payroll simulation and Personnel Cost Planning. You also define which BAdI implementation should run in the module data collector or for determination of requirements during automatic commitment creation.
You should only call up this IMG activity if you cannot work with the standard setting.
Requirements
Standard settings
SAP delivers detail variant DC_PCP. This detail variant is assigned as the filter PCP for the data collector and filter STANDARD for the determination of requirements.
Activities
If you have defined your own filter values and have created BAdI implementations for them, you have to assign them to the detail variant required.
You have to create your own detail variant if you want to use different detail variants for the data collection. You can find information on this in IMG activity Determine Detail Variant Individually for Data Collector.
