Use

Using this IMG activity, you activate automatic commitment creation. This is possible if you have defined a period in which the commitment creation automatically takes place for the groupings you maintained in the previous IMG activities.

Note:

If you want to create original budget for positions or persons, the objects affected also have to participate in automatic commitment creation.

Requirements

  1. You have created at least one grouping in the IMG activity Define Grouping for Participation in Automatic Commitment Creation.
  2. You have entered this/these grouping/s as a return value in the IMG activity Assign Grouping for Participation in Automatic Commitment Creation.

Standard settings

SAP does not deliver any standard settings.

Note:

After automatic commitment creation has been activated, all Customizing changes in Posting Attributes of Wage Types require a new initial commitment creation of the personnel and positions affected by this.
This is required if other FM account assignments in which
commitment was already created are debitedas a result of theses changes. For example, this is the case when wage types are assigned to other G/L accounts and the assigned FM account assignment changes due to this.

  • If you have activated automatic commitment creation and have already generated commitment, the Customizing for account determination for the posting of payroll results to Accounting can no longer be changed. Customizing changes can only be made at the start of a new commitment period.
