In this step, you define the number range interval 01 for funds precommitment documents. The definition comprises the number interval from which the system selects the number and the type of number assignment. Only the internal number assignment is permitted for the generation of funds precommitment documents.
Activities
Define the reference document numbers you want for the number range interval 01. The program does not use numbers from other number range intervals.
Select the internal number assignment.
Save your entries.
Further notes
You transport number range objects as follows:
Choose Interval -> Transport in the accounting document Number Range screen.
All intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.
Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
