Use
You can activate the workflow for notes in this IMG activity. You use the workflow to map different responsibilities in processing of personnel actions. This allows you to separate the roles of HR administrator and person responsible for the position plan.
If you have activated the workflow, the notes that can be activated are not immediately proposed for the processor delimiting holder links between an employee and a position. A workflow is created and either the person responsible for the position plan or the notes administrator is informed that there are notes to be activated.
Requirements
The system determines the processor from the organizational structure. A person responsible for the position plan (or a responsible position) must have been entered for the position with the note during maintenance of the organizational plan (transaction PPOME). If no person responsible for position plan is entered for a position, the message goes to the person that was defined in the IMG activity Enter Administrator for Notes Workflow.
