Use
In this IMG activity you can activate the integration of lock notes in commitment creation. You should activate this integration if you use the commitment processor, work with notes and do not want the system to create funds precommitments (commitment) for locked full-time equivalents.
If integration is active, the system only creates funds precommitments for full-time equivalents of vacant positions that are not locked. In event-controlled notes, only the active part of the note is relevant.
The integration is not active in the standard system. The commitment processor creates funds precommitments for all vacant positions regardless of whether parts of the position are locked or not.
Note:
To improve performance, you should only activate the integration of lock notes in the commitment processor when absolutely necessary.
Requirements
If you want to activate the integration, you have to include the infotype 1509 (budgeting rule PBC) in the IMG activity Define Infotypes Relevant for Change Log.
Standard settings
The integration is not active in the standard system.
