Use

In this IMG activity you define a note type (group lock note or group "to be deleted" note) for the subtypes you created. You also define characteristics for the individual note types. You cannot change the characteristic external note if entries have been made for a note type (subtype). You cannot delete the note type either in this case.

You define:

  • if it is an external note
  • that a particular note type (subtype) should be obsolete. You require this indicator because note types that already have entries in the system cannot be deleted because calling existing infotypes entries can cause errors.
  • If you want a note type to only be relevant for positions with particular characteristics, assign a condition to the note type.

Note:
You only use subtypes of the infotype 1509 for one note type, that is, not for a lock note and a "TBD" note at the same time.

Requirements

You have created note types (subtypes) in the IMG activity Define Note Types.
