Use

In this IMG activity, you adjust the feature PM300 (Assign Grouping for Activating Reassignment Lock). In this step you assign the groupings you created in the previous activity to the decision tree of the feature as a return value. In this way you can control the activation of the reassignment lock.

Requirements

You have created a grouping in the IMG activity Define Grouping for Activating Reassignment Lock.

Standard settings

SAP does not deliver any standard settings.

Activities

To adjust the feature PM300:

  1. Execute the IMG activity.
  2. Navigate to the decision tree of the feature.
  3. Change the decision tree according to your requirements. Read the documentation of the feature (Goto -> Documentation).
  4. Select Check for the system to check the feature for errors.
  5. If no errors were found during the check, select Generate.
  6. Select Save to save the feature you have just changed.

    Note:
You can enter the groupings from the IMG activity Define Grouping for Activating Reassignment Rule as a return rule. This allows you to activate a reassignment lock for a particular company code or employee subgroup, for example.

Next, you have to activate the reassignment lock for each grouping you want and enter the period if necessary. You do this in the IMG activity Define Period for Activating Reassignment Lock.

Then you can define the end of the reassignment lock in the IMG activity Define Default Value for End of Validity for Reassignment Lock. The system determines the default value for the end of the reassignment lock using this entry as soon as a user delimits a holder linkage to a person.
