Use

In this IMG activity, you define "TBR" notes that should be used in the area organizational management for public sector. You define one or a number of subtypes for this in the infotype alternative valuations (infotype 1511).

Note:
The infotype 1511 is only delivered as a country-specifc infotype for Germany.

Requirements

Standard settings

SAP delivers the following "TBR" notes for the area organizational management for public services:

Note:
The subtypes 0001 and 0002 are used for alternative valuations. You can find more information on this under Define Alternative Valuations.
The CAFPS subtypes are different to the other subtypes in the field control.

Activities

To define "TBR" notes:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter 1511 in the field infotype and define a key for the subtype (the customer name space is between 9000 and 9999).
  3. Enter a description in the field subtype text.
  4. Choose Save.
  5. Select the new entry, enter the object type S and the time constraint 3.
  6. Choose Save.
  7. To define that the subtype created is a "TBR" note, you have to include it in the list of "TBR" notes. You can do this in the IMG activity Define Characteristics of "TBR" notes.

Example

You want to define a "TBR" note for the reclassification of employee positions. Since you do not need any specific pay scale fields for the valuation of employee positions, you want to hide these fields for this "TBR" note.

Instructions for this example:

  1. You create the user-defined "TBR" note reclassification to as subtype 9999 in the IMG activity Define "To be Reclassified Notes".
  2. Add this subtype to the list of "TBR" notes and define the characteristics you want for it in the IMG activity Define Characteristics for "TBR" Notes.
  3. In the IMG activity Assign Variable Key to Field Control, create a variable key such as A for the "TBR" note reclassification of employee job. To do this, copy an existing entry, change the variable key to A and hide all specific pay scale fields.
  4. In the IMG activity Assign Variable Key to Subtypes, assign the variable key A to the subtype 9990. To do this, place the cursor on the field SUBTY and choose Help -> Create Interval Value. Enter 9990 as the interval value. Then place the cursor on 9990, choose Create and select return value as the node type. Choose Continue and enter the return value A in the following screen.
