Use

In this IMG activity you define the types of lock notes and "TBD" notes that should be used in the area Organizational Management for Public Services. You define subtypes for this area in the infotype budgeting rule PBC (infotype 1509).

Note:
Subtypes of the infotype 1509 cannot be used for different object types at the same time. In particular, subtypes that are already used for budget structure elements in the area Personnel Budget Plan Management cannot be used for positions or organizational units too.

Note:

The subtypes 0001 to 0005 belong to the area Personnel Budget Plan Management and should not be changed in Organizational Management for Public Services.

Do not delete the subtype TEMP!

Activities

To define your own budgeting rules, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter 1509 in the field infotype and define a key for the subtype (the customer namespace is between 9000 and 9999).
  3. Enter a description for the budgeting rule type in the field subtype text.
  4. Choose Save.
  5. Select the new entry and enter time constraint 3 for the object type wanted.
  6. Choose Save.
  7. To determine the note type (lock or group lock note, "TBD" note or reassignment lock), you have to include the subtype created in the corresponding list of notes. If you have defined your own subtype for the note type lock note, you have to define some characteristics for it in the IMG activity Define Characteristics of Lock Note.
