Use
When evaluating budget structure elements (infotype 1005), the user can enter a salary group interval instead of a salary group with an upper and lower salary group limit. If the system should convert a budget structure element using the conversion factors (for example, for transfer postings), it must be defined whether the lower or upper limit should be used for the determination of the conversion factor.
Requirements
- In the IMG activity Maintain General Settings for Salary Evaluation, it was defined that the salary evaluation occurs via infotype 1005.
- In IMG activity Maintain Conversion Factors for Salary Evaluation, conversion factors for the salary evaluations were defined.
Standard settings
SAP delivers the value den Wert H (for high) for the combination HRFPM/RATGR, in other words, the system takes the upper salary group for the conversion.
Activities
If the conversion should be carried out with the lower salary group, enter the value L (for Low) in the field Value Short.
Example
The budget structure element 1 should be posted to BS element 2. The following data is saved for this:
Salary group interval BS Element 1 BS Element 2 Conversion factor
Lower limit A10 B1 Factor 1
Upper limit A12 B3 Factor 2
As it was defined in this IMG activity that the conversion factor should be determined from the upper salary group limit, the system converts with a factor 2.
